In today's fast-paced society, people are beginning to consider how to slow down and pursue inner peace and tranquility amidst high pressure and a high tempo of life. The philosophy of "slow" not only allows us to reflect on a society that emphasizes speed and efficiency different from the mainstream, but also creates differentiation and niches.
Therefore, the rise of slow movement thinking can be seen as an important issue that modern society urgently needs to discuss. The objective of this conference is to explore how to promote sustainable tourism, regional revitalization, and sustainable small town development through slow thinking. Specifically, this call for papers includes domestic and international case studies on sustainable and slow tourism, experiences in building slow cities, examples of ecological agriculture and slow food, and regional revitalization and small town development.
Through case discussions at this conference, we hope to stimulate sustainable and innovative local development models, further improve the quality of urban and rural life, and achieve the goal of maximizing national welfare.
